MV Movers Ltd is the data controller for personal information you give us when you enquire about or book our services.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address, the addresses involved in your job and the details you give us about it. When you use a quote form, the details you enter are emailed to us so we can reply, and a copy is kept in a secure log for up to 90 days. If you choose WhatsApp, the message is also sent from your own WhatsApp account.

Why we use it

To quote for and carry out your job, to invoice you and to contact you about it. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract, or steps you ask us to take before one, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Who sees it

Our own team. We do not sell or share your details for marketing. Where a job needs a third party, for example a storage facility, we share only what that job requires.

How long we keep it

Job and invoice records are kept for six years for tax and insurance purposes, then deleted. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months.

Your rights
